Song of Fire

As a matter of ritual, the inhabitants of this far-off land have been trying to figure out how to make their nearby volcano erupt for over a century. Their passed-down lore states that their ancestors could make it erupt at will. They've tried everything they can think of, but haven't performed the right rituals. Perhaps by the end of this production, they will! Like many of our shows, this music could provide a great vehicle for alternative narratives you could create to visit a different vision.

It has a bass drum feature in the middle of the show that involves members from the snare and tenor sections switching to a 2nd set of bass drums. You will need five more bass drums to tune in the pitches between your main set to perform the show as written.
