Life Gives You Lemons

"When life gives you lemons..." is an age-old expression that usually ends with "make lemonade." In our interpretation, we start with a jolting mood, much like that first bite of a lemon, and from that point, we go on a journey of unexpected twists and turns. We start with a back-and-forth between the Dies Irae from Verdi's Requiem and Farandole, then move on to a "spoiled fruit" minor version of "Walking On Sunshine." The next odd twist is a unique samba treatment of "The Sound of Silence," closing the show with a mashup of Ode to Joy and callbacks of other show melodies. it's a musically-driven show with tons of visual possibilities!

Copyright permissions for "Hold Music" by Jacob Mann ($320), "Walking On Sunshine" by Katrina and The Waves ($320), and "The Sound of Silence" by Paul Simon ($180) will have to be secured before the show can be licensed. We can assist you with that for a fee.
