The Deepest Lament

In its original presentation, this was an abstract depiction of the effect we as human beings have had on our oceans, with the harrowing vocals representing the ocean’s voice and the performers embodying the ocean itself. Regardless of the interpretation, this production is sure to captivate and impact everyone who experiences it.

It was originally written for a featured bass flute performer, but we realize that bass flutes are not easy to acquire—so we also offer versions featuring flute or bass clarinet!
